I was looking around in my dads work and found that they have a 2004 chevy silverado motor, its really clean looking, i will clean all the dust and dirt off of it, My dad was gonna use it for a project but got to lazy, he said it was rolled over and bent a rod, because of the oil lock-up. I can fix it... make me an offer, its the 5.7l with injectors, coils, and all the needed sensors to run. just no computer. or maf.

its got to be 5.3l or 6.0l the 5.7l ended in 1998, is it in a 1/2ton or 3/4?

Good little motors. I gave one away that was water locked. It was crazy cause it even broke number 8 rod. But never nicked the block. I just picked up a 6.0 for my truck for 400. Runs great even with boost.
