Hahahahahahahaha! That's Hilarious! More like the pictures you took of me were when I was actually helping you! I had a blast though. It was a very fun install w/ minimal issues. Thank you so much Mr. Card. That was the learning experience of a lifetime! Nothing like getting to know your car better.

Oh yeah... Dougie you helped a shit ton too! Shuttling us around waiting for the flywheel and hooking up a bunch of shit when we put the engine back in. I was the one that didn't do much... Except fight w/ the god damned air intake!

If you're not bleeding at the end of the install, you didn't do it right!

Shit I end up cutting myself changing spark plugs!!! lol!
Although I think I made it through my turbo install with only 2 scrapes, Douglas on the other hand decided punching my firewall was a good idea and bruised his hand up pretty good Laughing

Dang I'm glad I don't own a Suby after that. I'd hate pulling the engine just to change the clutch. I can pull mine out solo and have it back in 2 hours total and no bleeding anything or having to refill the coolant.

yeah if you know somebody with a lift you can just undo the driveline and pull the tranny from the bottom its way fuckin easier. my clutch went out when i worked for denny menholt and they only charged me $217 to replace it. but that price is the only reason i paid someone to do it. my neighbor i found out a couple motnhs ago has a lift and i tryed to get ahold of him but he was out of town so i guess the price wasnt the only reason. but every fellow subaru person says pull the motor..........not me i will wait and find a lift and just pull the tranny.

The one thing I like about pulling the motor is that you can service the motor completely. PCV, fuel filter, SPARK PLUGS, and you can inspect valve covers and seals etc. I rather enjoy pulling the motor anyways. Smile
