Funny how u need to stir everything up. Maybe u should actually read the posts before u act like a typical ricer.no one hated on his car.
the tire issue was the only issue.what he drives had nothing to do with it.

Funny how you act just like the parking lot racers that don't think before the mouth off..

Because I sit in the parking lots and never am at the track, right?

I'm just calling it like I see it is all.

He posts up a time and the first thing someone says, like a child is "Nuh-Uhhhhh! That doesn't count! Its not fair!". Someone always has something to cry about and unfortunately that's why the scene as a whole is the way it is around here. No one can compliment the guy for putting in countless hours, being able to drive (a hell of a lot better than me and I'll admit it) and posting a damn good timeslip. I'm happy for anyone and everyone who runs at the track, be it a 15 second pass or a 7 second pass. Props to them for being out there and supporting the sport and at least trying, but when someone's ego gets bruised, "OH NO! its a goddamn crisis!".

And I know not anyone said a word about disliking the car or complaining because its a 4cyl... but the fact is (and we see it everywhere we go) the V8 guys as a whole have some sort of wierd disdain for imports that are faster than theirs, whether you want to admit it or not, hence the typical "Ricer" slam. Wink

And I don't stir shit, if you're referring to arguments in the past. I simply don't sit idle when I have a legitimate opinion and I'm not going to sensor myself because it might hurt someone's feelers...

But hey, its the internet, everything can be taken the wrong way and if you search for animosity in anything anyone posts, you can find it - that being said the same can be seen with humor.

My opinion is... Since I run a NA pump gas small block I should be able to run slicks and still be on the list. Suspect And I want a pat on the back too..

If you want to be on the street list run street tires......< period. It's pretty simple.

I could care less who is faster... I race against myself.

Sam is faster than I am.. He runs nitrous... maybe we all should give him a 300lb weight penalty or he can't be on the list.... scratch Maybe another 300lb because he and I run a V8... Or give me a penalty cause I have 15k in my junk... Blah blah blah.... Makes no sense..

    cheers

Tom was pretty clear I thought. Is he the authority on the list? If so he has spoken. He doesn't care about race gasoline, DOT tires or not, etc..

Whether people wanna get bent outta shape over adding a cubic inch column into the list or not is a separate issue. I don't have an opinion on that. Regardless, the higher up on the list you are is going to be determined by the real world results the car produced not whether it's got 90 cubic inches or 900 under the hood.

Maybe u should try and realize the only issue is you.

If u bothered to read wee already came to a conclusion. And your beating a dead horse. But keep running your mouth.cause that's what u do best.

I did read, thanks. There's no need to make personal slams and if your expectations are set as such, of course you're going to find that if you go hunting for it. I'm sorry you feel that way, kind of a shitty way to live life - expecting the worst in someone. You've never once talked to me in person, so your opinion is based simply on the tone you percieve any and all of my posts to be in, which is apparently not the way I try to portray them. Ask a majority of people, I am a level headed individual.

When we were in Washington, every single person at that IFO event - even the two most competitive shops there would have no doubt helped the other out if they needed it. The comradery is what's lost around here at the track. Personally, I race to beat myself and only myself. Even if I can't race, I go there to help my friends out, simple as that. If someone needs a hand I am there to loan it. All anyone has to do is ask.

As far as "running of the mouth", I haven't said anything. Typically running of the mouth would be defined as someone calling someone out, which I have done none of. Once again, dilusion gets the best of someone.

I'm done on the subject. Its sad we can't all just get along and try to come together to be a group united, because thats the re-occuring problem.

Funny how u go wounded knee when called out.
As for the helping out bit. Have u been to the drag strip.if Someone has a problem people from every pit come to help.regardless of who they are or what they drive.
same goes for u .you have never met me and assume I'm a certain way. Your just as guilty.
Glad your done with the subject because you didn't help at all.

Just made sum accusations the weren't true. Or even applicable to the subject at hand

I would like the idea that it has to be driven to the track in whatever configuration you race it in, if that road out there wasn't so shitty.

I should also feel bad that I spent a shit load of money on my slow ass 13.1@108mph air filter+Tune car.. :p

now i have a boss intake manifold, 4.10 gears, and o/r H pipe but didn't get another chance to run... sad Sad

oh well, looking forward to next year, hope we get some good weather on opening day, i'll be there. hoping for some mid 12s on my DD Smile

The right lane seemed to be having problems on saturday with the MPH, it was like 1/2 what it should be, then i always trapped 2mph lower than I did on the left after they "fixed it" anyone else notice that problem?

anyway, new personal best is 12.6@110 (although I trapped 112 every time in the left lane and 110 every time in the right) my 60' was 1.9 1/8th was 8.1@87

Yeah, the right lane definitely had timing (MPH) issues. I only ran once more in the right lane after they "fixed" it and I lost 4.3 mph over what I usually run (and ran in my 2nd run, left lane). I attributed it to the headwind (which seems to affect a bike quite a bit) but it does seem like a lot. My 1/8mph was down by .8mph, somehow doubt that the 1/4 would be off by another 3.5.

My problem is that I am unsure what was "wrong". The way the lights work to calculate mph, I'm confused on how it could be off.

I'll get the list updated when I have a few minutes. I need to finish getting ready for work.

    Grats on the new best!
