Can you change a 1.8L SOHC to a DOHC?....it's a 2007 Civic.

Short anwer. No. Long answer. yes, with time and money anything is possible.
But why, just engine swap, you will save thousands of dollars and millions of headaches.
As a matter of fact I don't think I've ever even heard of anyone converting an engine from SOHC to DOHC.

Ummm feel stupid asking the question now. So what is the largest Liter sizer engine or cc you can fit inside the new Civic Coupes? 2.4L ?

I run SOHC in my 01 Impreza and would not change them for the crappy DOHC for anything. LOVE THE SOHC!!

Probably for now I guess a Mod Chip and Cold Air Intake. I wana do the lights, tint darker, ad carbon fiber si spoiler and carbon fiber sport grill...Muffler and some Mugen RR chrome emblems. Fuck I don't got the cash to get another fucking engine. Wanted to get Si Rims and better tires. Trying to find better brakes and suspension kits.

Now youve got the right idea. Dont go shredding on an 07, its to clean of a car. I would just stick with bolt-ons till something breaks, or at least till 150k those cars are way too reliable to tear appart on a whim. If you are hell bent on having a fast honda buy a obd0 DA integra (LS) and turbo it, you could find and assemble a 12 sec car for prob 2500 after it was all said and done. Then if it broke you would still have that CHERRY civic to drive to and fro. The choice is yours, take care of that investment!!!

Yes I paid fucking 2k for all the warranty and extended premium stuff. They just fully replaced the NAV/GPS/DVD/CD/STEREO...etc....also radiator, left front speaker, and complete front steering wheel and electronic controls on it. They did the water pump a while ago also. And fixed a tire leaking air.

All this for FREE.

I can ad on a muffler, chrome emblems, put a different spoiler, grill, lights outside and inside..mud guards...rims...and body kit....also suspension I can get too.

But most of it has to be OEM or HFP. They will allow Mugen depending I found out.

I can get away with a cold air intake and chip...but if someone hits me and it goes to the honda hody shop...they find that stuff the warranty becomes void....so maybe....no mod chip or cold air intake lol....

I fucking LOVE the sound system on it and the gadgets....I like the Eclipse 09 much more...650 Watts Fosgate.
