With all due respect, I do not believe we had deviated too far from the original topic. A conversation will typcially follow a path determined by those participating, and should cover a variety of topics based on the input of the participants. I am just curious how many other badasses we have racing around with loaded weapons in their vehicles.....but anyway back to topic.

How is the stalking going? Did anybody get a name or address of the guy with the Viper? Anyone else have cop friends that could help out? I heard he is going to fix it after the accident. So, this is my suggestion, Perhaps someone should post a "Missed connections" ad on Craigslist with the topic clearly displayed. I will even help out and get it started.

So... what happened to the ACR? I don't see any rubber strips in the photo. Did he drift into the pole? Any other car involved? Cold tires on cold pavement? Does that care come with traction control?

Good question, must be in a bodyshop somewhere. As for traction control, here's one of my favorite quotes:

Hahahhahaaa. Clearly a Viper ACR is not for the faint of heart! I really am curious what happened. That is a whole lot of car ($$$) to just slide it into a pole on dry pavement, cold or not!

I have never seen that auction site. I wonder what he is hoping to get for this thing. I would guess the damage is pretty severe, is the engine pushed over a little?

According to their site, the cost to repair the damages is around $25k, and the car is still worth about $108k

I assume there must be some major frame damage, otherwise why would it get totalled. The value spread seems to large to just scrap the thing.
