Yeah the best idea would be to find someone to tune it for you! Do you have a wideband? or any of the equipment you need to tune it?

Being a diy guy is great, but there is a lot more involved in tuning a car then buying a chip burner and a laptop and having at it! There can be a huge learning curve and are you willing to sacrifice your motor in the process?

Well I have never tuned a EFI turbo set up and i never plan to. i know it would be great if i could but im one of those guys that look at it this way. you do what your good at and pay somebody to do what they are good at. when building my truck i have never had anybody but me lay a hand on it. other than my tune. Im a DYI guy also. but tuning is one of those things that are very touchy. don't you think if tuning was easy everybody would be a tuner? i have paid people to tune my truck and its worked out great for me. not saying you can't tune it yourself. i just know i wouldn't try it. good luck to you in whatever path you take. _________________ R.I.P Josh " King Of The Streets" Whitcomb 10.17.75--06.13.10 ' '

He who tunes with lack of experience makes big bang. And he who has experience is familiar with the big bang theory.

with enough research you can do a pretty good basemap. any1 can tune fuel map the tricky part is tuning the ignition and should only be done in a dyno, but you can retard 1 degree per psi and be more than safe(proven over and over on d16/zc's) i woudnt beat on it but that with some plug reading should make for a fun ride while you take it to a real tuner
