    does anyone know if i need a bypass module to hook up a remote start with 2 way security sytem in a 98 chevy cheyenne i cant find any info or bypass modules anywhere. and even the install places in town have given me different answeres.

    From my knowledge if its a decent two way like my Skytech you should be able to order the add on and its a simple plug and play. I didn't install it myself but from what I was told the remote start module was plugged into the skytech brain and I used the AUX button on my remote to start it.

    yes... mine is the top of the line avital.... and i just went in to good vibes and they werent even all that sure cus the cheyenne isnt in the system for bypass modules..... any idea if i just want to do the security part of the system do i still need the bypass module?
