| Might be doing a partial trade on the wrx for a 98 accord coupe in green with a shot clearcoat, body is pretty straight all around, minimal prepwork I would assume, any recommendations on a good paintshop in town that is also fairly cheap? I would just do the stock color to keep things simple. I have seen some stories about rebuild jobs, but just wondering what my best bet would be on a paint job? I have thought about a maaco job, but have only seen one and it was the cheap job and looked great from 10 feet away.... |

| dont undercut maaco and the painter there. i know him very well, and the paint jobs that comeout of there are only as good as the prepwork they came in with. bang for the buck maaco is at the top of the list |

Yep this true. It all depends on how well the prep work is done. When I use to help Matt Rukstad we would do all the body and prep work and pay Maaco to spray it for cheap and the paint jobs would turn out pretty good. |
