Have been waiting for the GREEN light to choose our track days for the year as OPI has first choice on weekends and I finally received an email. Our track days will be July 7th and 8th along with August 18th. Pricing is still up in the air as we have had issues in the past with people not showing, but I imagine it will be the same as long as our rental and insurance didnt go up.

Might be doing a partial trade on the wrx for a 98 accord coupe in green with a shot clearcoat, body is pretty straight all around, minimal prepwork I would assume, any recommendations on a good paintshop in town that is also fairly cheap? I would just do the stock color to keep things simple. I have seen some stories about rebuild jobs, but just wondering what my best bet would be on a paint job? I have thought about a maaco job, but have only seen one and it was the cheap job and looked great from 10 feet away....

dont undercut maaco and the painter there. i know him very well, and the paint jobs that comeout of there are only as good as the prepwork they came in with. bang for the buck maaco is at the top of the list

Yep this true. It all depends on how well the prep work is done. When I use to help Matt Rukstad we would do all the body and prep work and pay Maaco to spray it for cheap and the paint jobs would turn out pretty good.
