| I was actually unable to leave my house yesterday as our drive was a 4ft drift. Tractor did not come by until almost 3pm. Even after the tractor it drifted in overnight, so I was unable to go to work this morning. _________________ Michael Card - Site Administator |

I say go for it. MAEC is a forum for enthusiasts, not necessarily a club. If you wanna invite other honda guys to talk honda stuff and plan honda meets and have honda birthday parties and crap, then more power to ya! To be completely honest, bro, MAEC meets are 80% subarus anyways. I know I speak for more than one person when i say there are times where I feel outta place at the meets, but hang in there and you will meet more honda guys and even guys that dont have honda, but love talking cars in general. What you dont wanna do is gather together in an maec meet and exclude the other enthusiasts present. Every member has different ideas and interests, but we ALL love cars. |

This is actually the exact thing we are trying to remedy with this forum. As many people know, Big Sky Subaru had this major problem, and it was there were people who wanted to join but felt WAY out of place...since EVERYONE at the meet had a subie. I really encourage everyone to invite anyone they know(doesn't even have to be on the forum) when we have meet days. The last thing we want is for a montana auto enthusiast club to turn into another big sky subaru club.

| Dont get me wrong either, I do love my subarus, I used to sell em! But the point is not that there are too many subarus, because there isn't, its that any time there is somebody new or that we havent met before we need to say "what up" and make them feel like we actually want more people and cars involved. I know it may sound childish, but maybe we need to find a place that is not so ....i dont know...lined up, so EVERYONE feels like they are involved. I will be the first to put myself out there and me some folks and make new friends. I just hope that while we are all engulfed into someones new turbo or gauge setup or whatever, we spread ourselves out and be more inviting to the "new guy". Oh and for anyone who was at the last meet long enough "NO LEANING ON ANYBODIES CAR!!!!!" jk.... |

Only if we can draw a big oval in the parking lot designating you're little circle. Maybe even paint the inside of it blue. But City brew probably wouldn't like that..... unless we did it on the snow. Then all the Ford guys could park there cars in the blue oval. |

3S-GE = N/A DOHC
3S-GTE = turbo DOHC
Beams...... ? ya right close you're eyes and keep dreaming. lol
5S-FE = what you have and very slow. lol
I have the 3S-GE long block. Come look at it anyways. It's really cheap. |
