Have been waiting for the GREEN light to choose our track days for the year as OPI has first choice on weekends and I finally received an email. Our track days will be July 7th and 8th along with August 18th. Pricing is still up in the air as we have had issues in the past with people not showing, but I imagine it will be the same as long as our rental and insurance didnt go up.

Just decided to run it off the battery. Works much better and it is spot on now. For some reason the switch box was interfering with the signal making it freak out.

Switch box is installed and fully functional. Next project is putting in the 1000cc injectors and radiator. Should have plenty of time the next couple days as I am getting my wisdom teeth pulled tomorrow. More than likely will not be going to work for a couple days.

I am confused, you just hooked it up directly to your battery and now have constant power to it? Or you just ran a wire directly from the batter to the switch to the LM1.
Both of those are bad ways of doing it (I say bad because it may work temporarly but it is not going to last).... things will melt and not last. I strongly encourage you to take the few minutes to figure out the issue with the relay.

lm-1's are built for direct current like from a ciggarette lighter. fusing it would be better, but it must just not like the switch board

using a relay, installed correctly it is getting direct current. that is the whole point of them. Your switch triggers the relay to magnatize and pull the "relay switch" closed and give direct current to whatever you hooked it too.

resistance through a relay should be extremely minimal.

I will try hooking up a relay to the wideband and see if it works. I have 2, so I will be putting the other on my MSD box.

is there a reason you don't want your wideband on all the time? I would think you would want to just wire your wideband up like you would a stereo. run it's power wire direct to an ignition switched wire, so it is on whenever the car is on.

Well I just got done putting a relay on the MSD and Wideband and everything is working as it should. Everything is running through the switchbox.

Have not had it out for a test drive yet, but idling in the garage everything works great. Hope to be able to get her out this weekend.
