I am just putting this up for Vern as he is a huge part of this forum. If you guys are looking to get tint done I believe he does it for $160 for members, so please give him our business as he does so much for the club. Make sure you mention MAEC or you will probably pay end up paying $200.

I will be going down to the TInt Factory on Friday to get the insurance finalized and I will let him know about the club. I had it all setup for the BSS club, but now need to change it over.

Yeah, I am sorry about that. I didnt even think about telling Vern about the site. Really the last time I talked to him was when we finished Lewistown #2 last year and that is right when I started MAEC. I will be seeing him here in the next couple days.

what do you mean exactly by insurance finalized mike.

I need to have Vern fax it over to the OPI people. Jeanie has been bugging me for quite awhile about faxing it over, but it always ends up being my busiest time of year and I procrastinate it.

Vern is the one who makes the event happen. There is a required 1,000,000 insurance policy on the track when we use it and Vern sponsors us with his policy (he is one of the chairmen for the off-road groups and he has a yearly insurance policy). If Vern did not put up the insurance I dont know if we would even have a Lewistown meet.

$1,000,000 insurance is only like $500 a year, if I'm not mistaken.

I hope to get this discount figured out with Vern here in the next couple days. He is very busy working down in California on a huge tint job.

Hi there. I lurk here...but wanted to let you know this post led me to Vern and his Delorean. Besides being a very nice guy-and very attentive to his customers needs, the tint work was top notch. I went with a visor on the front windshield and Vern and his assistant were very helpful in making sure it was the right height. He extended the forum discount to me and offered to remove some old decals from the previous owner.

Then afterward, he let me sit in his Delorean.

I have never seen one in person-nor obviously sat in one.
