Mike,

My suggestion would be to slim down the selections on the front page. Everytime i visit I get lost on where I am going. I think the simpler the better, especially while things get off the ground there is several sections that have zero posts (I know that will change in time).

Examples... what is the difference between chit chat and general talk? I think they should be one.

You could argue with me on this but why a for sale, wanted, and for trade. Most sites just do a for sale forum and you can use WTB, WTT, or FS on your post.... maybe your system is better I don't know. I prefer one stop shopping.

Then on the video games... does each system justify it's own main category. I would think this being a car forum that area would have limited activity so combining all the systems into one would just clean things up.

Just my two cents, your system may grow on me, but like I mentioned I am always am getting lost between the chit chat and general talk for sure. I also think by slimming things down you put more information in front of people. I may be just looking to buy something and then happen upon a good trade.... where as if they are two sections I will probably rarely look in the trade forum.

Otherwise, really good work with the site and thanks for putting this together. I hope this site grows so we can get more people involved in motor sports. It is such a huge deal in other cities and it's sad we have trouble just getting enough kids out to an SCCA event.

I agree about the for sale sections. WTB/FS/Trade would all fit together nicely. Then maybe we could have a vendor sales sections, and a good seller/bad seller section. I also noticed from other forums that there is usually a product review section. Maybe we could do something like that too. I know I have a few products I have reviews for.

Slimmed it up quite a bit. If you have anymore suggestions let me know. I have been wanting to trim it down, but have been pretty busy this weekend.
